Joseph Cacciotti grew up in Racine, Wisconsin along the shores of Lake Michigan. His desire to write appeared early
in life when his teachers encouraged him to write poetry and to become a journalist in high school. But, the drive to write fiction grew stronger as he matured. He published Blue Collar Real Estate Mogul in 2006, which is based on true life experiences he and his best friend endured as landlords in Racine. In 2009, Joe completed Hurricane Cores the Big Apple the first of a series about Sam Rufus, an unconventional detective whose methods for getting the bad guys come close to crossing ethical and legal lines in the pursuit of justice. Joe lives with his wife in Racine, Wisconsin, and continues to write the next books in the Hurricane Sam Rufus series.
